The boys at Kuling

Village kids usually: They ask for candy, they ask for pen. They surround you, they follow, sometimes even tease you. After all they are kids. But it can be overwhelming and irritating.

In the backcountry of Uttarakhand, it’s different. They boys are polite, mannered, even wished us. They are the ones who truly deserve the candy and the pen.
